Currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to fill an opening with a SEC Services company located in Schaumburg, IL. Interested candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA, and have 5+ years’ related work experience.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
  • Coordinate cross-functional and multidivisional month end close reporting and deliverables.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues and reporting discrepancies.
  • Manage the global monthly QA Account Reconciliation program and results.
  • Drive policy development while monitoring and measuring compliance across all divisions.
  • Establish and manage the master data change management process related to general ledger.
  • Drive Global Reporting Communication.
  • Lead and advise on the business initiatives across multiple areas within finance and across geographies/organizations.
  • Further review and enhance the global operational control environment for intercompany transactions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally to meet strict project execution deadlines.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA, and 5+ years’ related work experience.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards/reconciliations and month-end close experience.Strong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Well-experienced with Microsoft Office—advanced level skills in Access and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting
  • Good working knowledge of the insurance brokerage business and Intercompany/prior experience managing teams/personnel.
